A few years ago, dermatologist Sandra Lee, affectionately known as Dr. Pimple Popper to her fans, was most famous for her gory extraction videos on YouTube. Lee has come a long way since then, though. For instance, she has a TV show on TLC, as well as her own direct-to-consumer skin-care line, called SLMD. Now, SLMD is officially sold at Target, thereby making it way more accessible for the average consumer who wants to try her products.
Lee worked with Target to launch a line of freshly designed products and kits, including best sellers like her 30-day Acne System ($50) and the Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15 ($29). The full collection also includes the Salicylic Acid Cleanser ($25), the Salicylic Acid Spot Treatment ($25), the Salicylic Acid Body Spray ($38), the Glycolic Acid Body Scrub ($35), and the Glycolic Acid Body Lotion ($35), all of which were formulated for every skin type, even those with sensitive skin.
SLMD announced the exciting news on its Instagram on Monday. “We’re thrilled to announce that our best sellers are now available in select @target stores and online at Target.com! 🎯 That’s right, it’s easier now more than ever to shop the products you’ve been dying to try… IRL.”
No surprise here, fans are psyched. Followers have left comments like, “Oh thank the acne gods!🖤, ” “Sonofamotherlessgoat! This is like Christmas in July!!!!🙌,” and “Yessss clear skin let’s goo ❤️.”
It’s safe to say these SLMD products are going to sell like hotcakes, so if you’re interested in snagging some skin-care goodies for yourself, head to target.com or your local store, stat.
