As expected, the Motorola Moto G4 Play has been launched in India. The device – which was made official back in May this year – carries a price tag of INR 8,999 in the Asian country. This translates into around $135 at current exchange rates.

Specs-wise, the handset is powered by a Snapdragon 410 SoC, and sports a 5.0-inch HD display. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable internal memory, and packs in a removable 2,800mAh battery. In terms of camera, the phone features an 8MP rear unit and a 5MP front shooter.

The Moto G4 Play is an Amazon exclusive in India, with sales beginning 10:00pm today.
