Historic Arthurdale Heritage hosted its first ‘Baby Goat Yoga’ class on Sunday.

15 yogis practiced their techniques while the furry friends wandered about to keep spirits high.

Darlene Bolyard, Executive Director of Arthurdale Heritage, Inc., said all proceeds from the event go toward preserving the historic buildings for future visitors.

“It’s a fundraiser for our historic non-profit, and also people love goats,” Bolyard said. “Goats are wonderful creatures. They’re very loyal, they’re very dedicated. So it’s a way to introduce people to goats and fun while also preserving our historic buildings here.”

This was one of two Baby Goat Yoga classes being offered this year. The second class will be on March 18 and only 25 spots are available. Baby Goat Yoga is $45 for non-members and $40 for members.

You can reserve your spot at the next Baby Goat Yoga class by registering online.
